Bodyweight Core Challenge “Fun”isher

I have been doing a lot of kettlebell training as of late. Pretty much exclusively the last 5 months and 6 days a week for the last month or so. Training is going well. Skills are improving. Weights are increasing. Performed my first 70 lb turkish get up this last week which I was pretty stoked about. Considering that was my weak point at the RKC a year ago it’s nice to see some tangible progress.

While all is going well in the kettlebell world I still have to put the weights down from time to time. Lately that’s been in the form of sprint workouts at the park. Other times that’s been an all bodyweight challenge, like today’s finisher. I don’t do a lot of focused core work (not really needed when doing heavy get ups), but when I do it looks something like this:

6:00 AMRAP
A) X-body Mt Climbers x20
B) V-ups x10
C) Burpee w/ 180 spin x5

It’s a great little core challenge for you to try that gets a little more difficult as the minutes tick by. Here’s a look at my 6:00:

No equipment necessary. Try it out and let me know what you think!
