Drop Set Friday “Fun”isher

Normally I like to keep my finishers pretty simple. A couple of movements, maybe just a single weight to use, but this week I decided to mix things up a little bit. I kept the exercise selection simple enough using just cleans and push presses. The weight selection was where things got a little complicated. Using three sets of double kettlebells I found a way to integrate a classic drop set style workout into the finisher.

Here’s exactly how it was done:

6:00 AMRAP of:
A) KB cleans x2, KB Push Presses x2 (53lb KBs)
B) KB cleans x4, KB Push Presses x4 (45lb KBs)
C) KB cleans x8, KB Push Presses x8 (35lb KBs)

Don’t have 6 kettlebells to play with? You could definitely alternate sides with a single kettlebell either doing A on each side, then B, etc. Or do A, B, and C on one side before switching

Here’s what it looked like for me:

Definitely a tough one! Let me know how it goes
