Race to 250 Kettlebell Workout “Fun”isher

Hey there! It’s been a couple of weeks but I’ve finally got a new finisher for you to check out. I’ve had a few weekends of travel and posting just flat out slipped my mind. A no-no, I know, but I promise I will make it up to you with some pretty kick ass workouts in the next few weeks.

September was a month that contained a buttload swings, and today’s workout was one of my favorites from that month. Fittingly it also contains a buttload of swings itself for a single workout and some burpees for rest. Yes, you heard that right. Burpees will feel like rest. We’re doing that many swings. Cool, right? I thought so. Anywho, here is the layout for the workout:

For time:
A) 2H KB swings @ 62 x 250
B) Burpee x 2, 4, 6…

The goal is to do 250 swings in as few sets as possible. There is an ascending burpee “penalty” each time the kettlebell is set down (2 the first time, 4 the second, etc.)

This was a challenge for sure, and it took me seven sets, 46 penalty burpees, and 12:50 to complete. How did you fare? Let me know in the comments below
